Focus on Safety and Compliance

Ohman Descaling Services holds safety at the top priority in every service visit. Our team members are compliant with all Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards and work to provide only the best and safest service available for our many valued clients.

  • Ohman maintains custody and control of the cleaning solution at all times. During and after cleaning we are fully responsible for any chemical waste-stream liabilities. The cleaning solution is kept contained and is legally hauled away from the client’s location.
  • Our company carries $5 million in general liability insurance and $2 million specifically written for chemical cleaning or pollution.
  • Ohman professionals are trained in and follow OSHA lock-out-tag-out and confined space entry procedures.
  • We are compliant with OSHA’s Hazardous Communication “Right-to-Know” Act by conducting a safety meeting with all client employees working within the cleaning vicinity.
  • Ohman complies with all applicable local, state and federal environmental standards.
  • Ohman Descaling Services is the only company to use a Large-Water-Volume, Individual Tube Flush prior to chemical cleaning to locate any tubes that may be completely plugged or severely restricted. Chemical cleaning cannot open a plugged or severely restricted tube. Upon completion of the chemical cleaning process, Ohman then performs a second Large-Water-Volume, Individual Tube Flush to flush out any sludge that may have sloughed off during the cleaning process. This process assures the best quality cleaning of a system.
